Thank you Susan for your comment and compliment of this painting. Today I have been doing just that digging down and ready to paint another piece. Isolation absolutely didn't want any bright colors. This painting almost painted itself if that makes sense. I was in a rough spot obviously.

I appreciate your words and they go right to my heart. I know this feeling when the heart feels empty of feelings Gun. It is not easy for our muses and/or empaths. Being artists is a double edged sword. We go down into the deepest part of ourselves, the memories, the grief. Then we rise up again and pick up the paint brush and go to a special place where only artists can reach. You are not alone. I am with you in spirit Gun.

...maybe because it mirrors so much how I feel nowadays. My muse is on a long vacation, and inside it is empty of feelings. I am ashamed of not commented other peoples art work. Especially your always kind and deep comment. Thank you so much Carolyn!
